Work with US Defense Department hardcopy printed maps, stereo image capture and other data for the production of Joint Operations Graphics (JOG) and Topographic Line Maps (TLM) in a FACC+ data scheme. Control product and data quality based on MIL STD 2402 standards and using Automated Aeronautical Facilities Information (AAFIF), GNIS GeoNames and Digital Vertical Obstruction File (DVOF) data. Insure products provided back to prime contractors and the Department of Defense are of the highest quality and conform to GIFD Delivery 4 Metadata Standards.

Actively maintained all aspects of map production management, such as workload planning, coordinating inter-group resource availability, job progress monitoring and reporting, training, coaching and evaluating employee progress.

· 2001: Selected as and Advanced Technical Development Specialist and interim Database Production Manager for map production staff of 10 Cartographers and Leads during process of converting product databases to ARCInfo environment. Position allowed for expansion of my skills in staff planning and development, workload planning and resource scheduling.

· 1999: Selected as Project Manager in the GIS group for all domestic custom products. The qualities I required for the position are clear communication with internal and external customers and stringent project management practices.

· 1996: Promoted to External Customer Coordinator. Major role involved supporting proprietary world mapping database and its international licensees. Represented company in Japan, Italy and Netherlands for training, installation project management, and support. Authored 275 page production procedures document to link all licensees with common documentation.

· 1994: Led multiple projects for stock atlas products and custom designed cartographic products from state and city fold maps to regional and country scale maps. Defined custom software and tool specs and tested development.

· 1990: Founding Cartographer on initial team to create and build "NRDB", proprietary national roads database. Used to create 1993 all-digital Road Atlas (first in the US).
